IT Skills for All wanted to provide full on-line training for a cost effective price, this web portal allowed people to register for a small fee and have access to a suite of training material.

Business Objectives

IT Skills for All came to Power Programming to ask about the creation of an online portal that can deliver training material to the internet. To this end their business objectives were

  • Simple to use web portal that would allow a subscription based download of training material
  • Complete online maintenance of the content of the web site
  • Complete online maintenance of the training manuals available on the web site.
  • Integration into a payment processing gateway

Activities

Power Programming met with IT Skills for All to discuss their objectives, during these meetings we came to the following core deliverables

  • The portal should look clean and simple, to go with the name of the site "IT made Simple"
  • The colours used within the site will keep with their current branding.
  • The use of "World pay" as the payment gateway for taking of membership fees.
  • There would be a set of facilities that could be accessed via an administrative login which would allow IT Skills for All staff to maintain the course material.
  • Agreed a time frame for delivery
